<p>Go figure, right? !</p>
<p>The explanation for this is that abdominal exercises are simply too little a movement to burn any important calories. </p>
<p>So while millions of well-intended individuals continue to do sit-ups and crunches in pursuit of burning belly fat, I want to save you the effort.</p>
<p>The 1st reason that I do not recommend making sit-ups a part of your <a href="http://www.get-flat-tummy.com" target=_self>belly fat</a> loss program, apart from the undeniable fact that they do not burn belly fat, is that impose a large amount of stress on your lumbar region.</p>
<p>Whenever time you perform a sit-up you are basically wedging the cushioning &#8220;pads&#8221; between your vertebrae. Over the passage of time this can cause heavy back consequences certainly if you do not have a strong core foundation.</p>
<p>Sit-ups are bad for your back and they do not burn belly fat. So what are you meant to do?</p>
<p> <b>Here&#8217;s the secret sauce &#8211; my best exercises to lose belly fat.</b> </p>
<p>Target using full body exercises that engage plenty of muscle. When you do this you inevitably force more muscle to do the work. And when greater amounts of muscle are recruited a greater need for oxygen and calories. </p>
<p>Understanding this is the base for any weight loss system.</p>
<p>Here are 2 of my favorite and best exercises to lose belly fat:</p>
<p> <b>Push Presses</b> &#8220;In a standing position, holding dumbbells at your shoulders, sit your bum back and drop your bodyweight onto your heels (as if doing a regular squat) as you lower down as if about to sit on a chair. Do your best to ensure that you only lower to the point whereby your thighs are parallel to the floor and that your upper body stays tall through the whole motion. </p>
<p>Now, push your feet into the floor to revisit a standing position and use that leg thrust to propel the weights above your head. Lower and repeat. Aim at 2-3 sets of only 5-7 repetitions using heavier dumbbells that you can only lift for the necessary number of reps.</p>
<p> <b>Burpies</b> &#8220;Who doesn&#8217;t love burpies, right? Generally, the exercises that are most grueling and uncomfortable are the best ones for us. This is no exception. </p>
<p>To perform a burpie start from a standing position, then drop to the floor and perform a push-up. At the very top of the push-up, jump your feet in toward your chest and jump up off the floor as high as practicable. Do it again. Aim to do as much as you can in 30 seconds, and do 2-3 sets.</p>
<p>These are just 2 sneak peaks of some of my all time favourite exercises to lose belly fat. They can most often outperform small ab exercises if your goal is to get rid of fat. </p>
<p>However , you should always remember that when shedding fat is the goal your diet will be the most significant part of your journey. But when you have both the ultimate exercises to lose belly fat and a healthy diet in order, you&#8217;ll be sure to succeed!</p>
